Stay at the Farm

Escape to the countryside for the weekend with our farm stay.  Nestled on our small farm in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, the farm stay cottage will give you a taste of country living.  April through June the farm is bursting with new life- if you look out the cottage windows you'll be able to watch the new goat kids and lambs with their mothers grazing in the fields nearby.

The cottage has its own small kitchen garden and chicken coop if you'd like to collect your own veggies, herbs, and eggs for breakfast.

With the Chestnut Woods State Forest on one side and Mount Tom State Forest on the other, there are plenty of hiking and nature walking options only minutes down the road.  The nearby Battenkill River offers great fishing, swimming, and kayaking in summer months, or drive the 10 minutes into the town of Cambridge to explore the local brewery, small antique stores, and independent book shop.  We're located only an hour from Saratoga and Troy if you prefer to adventure out of the countryside, and the town of Bennington, VT is only 30 minutes away.

Please be aware that this is a working farm and there will likely be animals making noise- roosters will crow at the crack of dawn, the guardian dogs bark to keep predators away from their flocks, etc.
